Tahun 2020 di awali oleh penghargaan untuk penghargaan untuk film dan program televisi Amerika Serikat yaitu, Golden Globe Award 2020, yang berlangsung di Hotel Baverly Hilton, Baverly Hills, pada hari ini.

 

Banyak pemenang yang tampa disangka sukses memboyong piala Golden Globe Awards 2020. Misalnya saja seperti film asal Korea Selatan, Parasite, yang sukses mendapatkan piala di kategori Film Berbahasa Asing Terbaik. Film besutan Sutradara, Bong Joon-Ho ini berhasil mengalahkan Les Miserables (Perancis), The Farewell (Amerika), Pain and Glory (Spanyol), dan Potrait of a Lady on Fire (Perancis).
